    Good relationships, including one with yourself, is a very important aspect of our mental wellbeing. It is shown that people in healthy, positive and supportive relationships are more likely to be happier and healthier than those who are not. Having good social connections can help your mental health in a multitude of ways, including: lower rates of depression and anxiety, greater empathy, and higher self-esteem. With that being said, it is important that these are healthy relationships. If you are in a relationship that might not be supporting you in ways that are vital to your mental health, you may consider ending that relationship in order to prioritize your mental health.
