Human Rights Day

Hello Everyone!

Human rights day is celebrated once a year, on December 10th. In 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted this day and created the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This is also known as the UDHR, which proclaims the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, color, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. The UDHR is also translated in more than 500 languages, making it the most translated document in the world. In the course of the time since the document was created, human rights have become more recognized and guaranteed across the globe. As the world faces new and ongoing challenges, we should always remember our human rights are there, and we should embrace everyone around us as equal.
